Sled Dog
Didn't know it was closed. I think we stayed there....4 years ago??? Parked sleds in the barn. Neat place. This year we fueled up in Clova and kept going. What's the story with the burned up sled that was there?
GT Rider
I don't know the details but I saw it too.

Mid Range
Is that the sled at Clova? Apparently, from what I heard,a Z1 Turbo caught on fire while refueling at the gas pump. The owner was from PEI,Canada.Apparently AC had issues with these sleds last year. smclelan
The sled was owned by the president of the provincial snowmobile association (PEISA) in PEI. I was at a meeting in the spring with him and he showed me a whole series of pics of the different stages of burning. tamarac
This year the skidozers are supposed to open the trail only around the 10 jan. They say it's for economic reason,,,there is not enough people to open early. Don't forget,,,it's a private trail. So if you do have skid for deep snow or wide tracks...your welcome We have a lot of snow and it very cold so the ground is solid.
